Time.. Corina Junghiatu

What's the time?
An impassive sweeper of moments
built on the foundation of circumstance
daily concerns, like commas
from the calendar of life;
if we don't understand the passage
like a scream between two silences,
we are still painfully far away of the level
of a superior intelligence.

The passage is a delirium into the unknowable,
with a continuous effervescence
which turns the moment into oblivion,
dissolved in azure acid.

I wonder how many carats has in time?
I wonder how many tick- tocks does it measure?
I wonder how dense life is,
if it fits in an hourglass?

Sometimes it's getting late,
far too late to waste a moment.
