INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY… Smruti Ranjan Mohanty
SOMETHING I LOOK AT–92
BY–SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY
In between two breaths,
the elixir of life,
its beauty and quiet ecstasy—
inhale them gently.
In between two heartbeats,
the divine melody,
the music of existence—
listen to its silent symphony,
the voice within.
And there begins the journey inward.
In between two thoughts,
the enthralling void,
the subtle vibrations,
let your mind rest there.
Dive deep into the ocean of love and bliss.
In between two states of mind,
discover the real you.
Let your awareness linger
on the object of love,
and remain where you truly belong,
from where you once emerged.
The deeper the stillness, the clearer the self.
In between the active and the passive,
the sleeping and the waking,
lies the vast emptiness—
the only reality
that introduces you to yourself
and makes you aware of life,
its purpose, its meaning,
and the goal for which you strive.
Sometimes a single moment of silence
reveals more than years of restless searching.
The wider the gap,
the deeper the realization;
the deeper the realization,
the closer you come to yourself,
closer to the great void,
the real you—
pure and unalloyed.
Closer to yourself,
closer to the great void.
In search of this truth,
you have wandered since time immemorial,
often without knowing it—
yet it has always been waiting
between two breaths.
