Your Name… Sumi Kapahera
When I take your name,
Call it again and again
It's not remained then a name only,
Changes into a prayer
I do every morning.
When I write your name
It's not remained a few letters only
Changes into the spiritual script
That enshrined in the temple
I bow down to that divine.
When I take your name
It's like a chain of gems -
Bonded to my breath.
In my mouth it becomes
A kiss - embraces my lips.
In your name
I see the moon, burning
in the sky at night.
It becomes a light, a sweet dream,
And a wish of achieving love.
