Not Only Me.. Dusmanta Choudhury
Not only me
But also the nature
Do wait here anxiously
For the arrival of the moon
With elevated soul
Much soberly and dearly
The western sky is busy
In the preparation of the farewell
About to be offered
To the great foundation of power
The great God, Sun
The distance horizon
Has changed its colours for
The passing of the sun
The trees bow their heads
The crunch cell is blown
The bell is rung
The time comes
The sun leaves soon
And I am in utter darkness
With a hope
That the moon will come
The sky is crying
After sometimes
Someone will apply
The deep dark on its face
Still it hopes
The moon will come
And will wipe all the darkness out
Some stars gradually appear
One after another
But look so dim
Still with a hope
That the moon will come
I become happy
To find the hope of the sky
Seconds passed, minuets passed
Password hours and days
The weeks passed and
The months passed
Password the years and births
I hear some chuckles and jeers
Some people speak behind me
Is it a fulmoon or new moon Night?
Still I hope and wait
The moon will come
To wipe the darkness out
To wipe the darkness out
