Let's be groping, then
Groping is a form of darkness
I have never known God
Nor have I ever seen Him
But those who have known Him
through the travails of a mother
through the lightening touch of a father
through the first sexual union
with an unknown woman
who never comes back again
have told me ---
Groping admits of his existence

What, then, about the achievements
of life?
About the collective peace?
About a morning landscape
without bloodstain?
About the deep gorgeous passion
behind which there is no showbiz?

Those who have known God
never said beyond this -----
Groping conceives Him

Let's be groping, then.
