Climbing has an energy
A little throb in your veins
Just as shifting gears, you
Unfold your steps, and the
Swingy gait will follow
The air will flow through
Your hair, making sure you
Are at a ritual, not a ride
A winding stairs will take
You to an ancient attic to
Sift through old memoirs
But the climb down can't
Be easier to succumb to.
