the sudden jolt of the tempest
shook the man of ignorance
whether the quake of earth
that rocked the people lives
or something else that,
flustered with the fumes and
debris around, the light of
many homes were buried in
the blast that echoed even
in neighbouring countries
the Ammonium Nitrate that
was stored in the warehouses
flattened the bustling streets
shards of hearts reflected
the affected, more than
4000 are in number, my heart
goes out for Lebanese,
who were whisked away by the
galloping wisp of boom & the blast.
