Sometimes to riddle, sometimes to twiddle
Sustaining angelic rapport, love and affection
Unconditional, unparallel, undestroyed bond of relation.

A sister's love lets every brother pay respect to other sisters
Never let him think ill of others even behind the curtain's corner
A sister who always reminds a brother of his duty
Who absolutely feels undoubted safety and security.

A sister never cares for any adversity or huddles
With a brother standing for sister's pleasure
A feeling of such a day bridges the gap between brother- sister
Makes a promise to present in time of danger

Happy Raksha Bandhan to all brothers and sisters
Let renew the past glory of habits, customs and culture
Let fraternity survive in the crisis of bond in rapture
Let the world feel proud of having a sister in future.
